Fall 2025
- F-1 Check-in and New F-1 Graduate Student Orientation – July 22 – August 21, 2025.
All international students admitted to UF must check in with the International Center. Check-in is a two-part process, the first part online and the second in person. The International Center also hosts informational orientation sessions. Click the link above for more information.
- GRADSTART – August 5, 2025.
GradStart is the UF Graduate School’s home for orientation resources for all incoming graduate students. GradStart is a Canvas-based orientation program, providing asynchronous modules which contain an introduction to academic expectations at UF. Master’s and Doctoral students who have been admitted will be added to GradStart, and the course opens Thursday, August 5, 2025.
- MS ADS In-Person Orientation – 1:00 –5:00 pm EST Monday, August 18, 2025.
We are holding the Fall 2025 Orientation to welcome our class of 2027! The orientation day is scheduled for Monday, August 18, 1:00pm – 5:00pm in Malachowsky Hall room 7200. Snacks, drinks and UF swag will be provided! See the agenda here.
- Classes Begin – August 21, 2025.
- Drop & Add Deadline – August 27, 2025.
- Tuition & Fees Payment – Due September 5 by 3:30 pm EST.
You must pay something, or your courses will be automatically cancelled by UF, which will compromise your F-1 status).- Tuition & fees must be paid prior to or by the fee payment deadline. Enrollment may be canceled if tuition and fees are not paid in a timely manner. If you do not pay in full before the fee payment deadline, you will be accessed the late payment fee. No fee deferments are available.
- If you have an assistantship or a scholarship which provides a tuition waiver or temporary in-state designation, you are responsible for payment of the fees related to your registration.
- If you cannot pay the tuition and fees in full, you must make at least a nominal payment or your courses will be automatically cancelled by UF, which will compromise your visa status. Then, you must pay the balance of the amount owed before you can register for the next semester.
- J-1 Partner School Exchange Students do not pay tuition but are still required to pay any other non-tuition charges. To find out how to make any payments, click here.
